A word from Dr Nerina Vecchio.
The story and heart behind Currumbin Village Early Learning, in the owner’s own words.
My husband and I have resided on the Gold Coast for over 30 years. Our son thrived in childcare and highlighted to us the value of this service for both child and family. Those positive experiences, and the valuable support I received from staff during difficult times, influenced my own research into caregiving and early education.
These days, as a proud grandmother of two young children, I am convinced of the importance of a holistic approach that childcare together with family and community can deliver. Our little village of dedicated and caring staff work closely with families to create a positive and supportive environment for children.
We pride ourselves on the high quality of care. For extra assurance and quality control, KAL, an independent childcare management company, provides expert support, guidance and oversight. That level of expertise allows our centre to go beyond the minimum government obligations and regulations required of centres.
To the families who trust us with their little ones, thank you. Your children are safe here, loved here, and free to grow at their own pace. We can’t wait to welcome you into the village.
